Das Zentrum für Weiterbildung und Wissensmanagement (ZWW) der OTH Regensburg hat erstmals eine Weiterbildung im Ausland angeboten. In Penang, Malaysia, fand unter
der fachlichen Leitung von Prof. Dr. Rupert Schreiner, Fakultät Allgemeinwissenschaften und Mikrosystemtechnik der OTH Regensburg, ein dreiteiliges berufsbegleitendes Seminar für 25 Ingenieure aus der Halbleiterindustrie statt.
Aktuelles akademisches Wissen aus der Halbleitertechnologie bietet derzeit das Zentrum für Weiterbildung und Wissensmanagement (ZWW) der OTH Regensburg zum ersten Mal im Ausland an. Unter fachlicher Leitung von Prof. Dr. Rupert Schreiner aus der Fakultät Allgemeinwissenschaften und Mikrosystemtechnik fand für 25 Ingenieure im November 2017, im Februar und März 2018 in Penang in Malaysia das dreiteilige berufsbegleitende Seminar „Optoelectronics – Fundamentals and Devices“ statt. Partner in Malaysia ist der industrienahe Bildungspartner Northern Technische Consulting (NTC), mit dem die OTH Regensburg das Seminarkonzept gemeinsam entwickelt hat. Da das Seminar sehr erfolgreich gestartet ist, plant das ZWW derzeit bereits weitere solcher Formate für die Bereiche Mikrosystem- und Elektrotechnik.
