Vertreter der Shantou University im Austausch über Wirtschaft und Ethik
In der vergangenen Woche hieß der Präsident der Universität Vechta, Prof. Dr. Burghart Schmidt, eine vierköpfige Delegation aus China an der Universität Vechta willkommen. Sie wurden dabei auch von der Leiterin des International Office Dr.in Natalia Petrillo empfangen. Die Vertreter der Shantou University interessieren sich insbesondere für die Bereiche Management und Ethik. Nach der offiziellen Begrüßung des Präsidenten stellte Prof. Dr. Nick Lin-Hi, Professur für Wirtschaft und Ethik im gleichnamigen Studienfach an der Universität, seine aktuelle Forschung in diesem Bereich vor.
Die Verbindung zur Universität Vechta stellten der ehemalige Vorstandsvorsitzende der Volksbank Vechta Ludger Ellert und Mario Ellert her. „Wir haben den Start für eine hoffnungsvolle Zusammenarbeit anregen können“, so das Fazit von Universitätspräsident Schmidt.
