In The Economist’s third “Which MBA?” ranking of executive MBA programs, the Kellogg-WHU Executive MBA Program ranks third worldwide, moving up three positions from the most recent edition of the ranking in 2015. The joint program of the Kellogg School of Management and WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management was voted the best program in Europe, placing ahead of programs such as the University of Oxford and Columbia Business School.
“This tremendous placement confirms our commitment to steadily increasing the high quality of our Executive MBA Program. As the smallest University in the global Kellogg network, we are particularly proud of this success and delighted that we are meeting the expectations of our alumni in the long term,” the Dean of WHU, Professor Markus Rudolf, observed.
Aside from its excellent overall rating, the Kellogg-WHU EMBA Program scored particularly high in several categories. For instance, graduates of the Kellogg-WHU EMBA Program can look forward to the second-highest rate of salary increase in the world. The program ranks third worldwide in terms of graduates’ opportunities and subsequent careers. Both the faculty and the program content were ranked 5th internationally. The current ranking comprised 65 international universities in all.
The "Which MBA?" EMBA Ranking for 2018 published by The Economist is based on data provided by universities and program participants alike. The ranking is particularly meaningful because it surveys not only students currently in the program but the last three graduating classes as well. Important criteria in the ranking include the career opportunities that the EMBA degree opens up for participants; the diversity of participants in terms of their internationality, gender and the sectors from which they come; the quality of instruction, program participants and teaching staff; salary and career trends for graduates completing the EMBA program; and the global reach of the alumni network.
