Erkenntnisse der Hirnforscher deuten darauf hin, dass Entscheidungen vom Gehirn bereits getroffen werden, bevor wir uns ihrer bewusst werden. Das Argumentieren für eine Entscheidung wäre demnach nur etwas vom Großhirn Nachgereichtes - eine Rationalisierung. Gibt es dann aber überhaupt so etwas wie einen freien Willen?
Unser Strafrecht basiert darauf, dass Täter für ihr Handeln verantwortlich gemacht werden, weil sie sich "frei" dafür entschieden haben. Den Konflikt zwischen Hirnforschung und Jurisprudenz wollen wir in diesem Streitgespräch abbilden.
