Was macht den Begriff „Fake News“ derzeit so prominent? Taugt er zur Gegenwartsdiagnose? Bezeichnet er eine bedrohliche Entwicklung, die uns zum Handeln aufrufen sollte, oder ist er lediglich ein Fahnenwort, das Aufmerksamkeit erregt und Ängste verstärkt? Diesen Fragen geht die Historikerin Prof. Dr. Ute Daniel in ihrem Vortrag nach, in dem sie das Phänomen der „Fake News“ in seine historischen Zusammenhänge stellt.
