Berlin, 3. Mai 2019. Der Stifterverband begrüßt die Einigung von Bund und Ländern auf der Gemeinsamen Wissenschaftskonferenz zur Finanzierung von Wissenschaft und Innovation in Deutschland:
„Die Einigung von Bund und Ländern zur Fortführung und Neugestaltung der Wissenschaftspakte ist ein Durchbruch für die nachhaltige Finanzierung des Hochschul- und Wissenschaftssystems“, sagt Volker Meyer-Guckel, Mitglied der Geschäftsleitung des Stifterverbandes. „Insbesondere die beschlossene neue Organisationseinheit zur Förderung von Innovationen in der Hochschullehre ist qualitativ neu und ein bleibender Meilenstein in der deutschen Wissenschaftspolitik.“
