Zum Wintersemester haben an der Universität Bayreuth an drei der sechs Fakultäten neue Dekane ihre Arbeit aufgenommen.
Bayreuth (UBT). Der Mikrobiologe Professor Dr. Ortwin Meyer, der Physiker Professor Lorenz Kramer Ph.D. und der Ingenieurwissenschaftler Professor Dr.-Ing. Rolf Steinhilper sind neue Dekane ihrer Fakultät, nachdem sie von den jeweiligen Fachbereichsräten gewählt wurden. Professor Kramer, Inhaber des Lehrstuhls Theoretische Physik II, folgt in der Fakultät für Mathematik und Physik dem Mathematiker Professor Dr. Wolfgang Müller. Neuer Prodekan ist der Inhaber des Lehrstuhls Ingenieurmathematik, Professor Dr. Hans Josef Pesch. In der Fakultät für Biologie, Chemie und Geowissenschaften löste Professor Meyer zum 1. November turnursgemäß für die nächsten zwei Jahre den Lehrstuhlinhaber für Struktur und Chemie der Biopolymere, Professor Paul Rösch, als Dekan ab. In der Funktion des Prodekans folgt Professor Meyer der In-haber des Lehrstuhls Biogeografie, Professor Dr. Carl Beierkuhnlein. Und schließlich folgt in der Fakultät für Angewandte Naturwissenschaften Professor Dr.-Ing. Rolf Steinhilper (Lehrstuhl Umweltgerechte Produktionstechnik) dem Lehrstuhlinhaber für Konstruktionslehre und CAD, Professor Dr.-Ing. Frank Rieg, als Dekan.
