The DZIF Academy is pleased to open the call for applications for two prizes in 2019: the DZIF Prize for Fundamental Translational Infection Research and the DZIF Prize for Clinical Translational Infection Research. DZIF will award the prizes of 5.000 Euro each for exceptional translational infection research. Application Deadline is September 26, 2019.
Candidates who significantly contributed to this area in Germany can either be nominated by a DZIF partner site or a mentor or apply directly to the DZIF Academy. The call for application is open to all researchers with outstanding achievements in translational infection research and is not restricted to applicants from DZIF partner sites. The prize will be awarded during the joint DZIF/DGI Annual Meeting in Bad Nauheim, November 21-23, 2019 where the recipients will be honored and have a chance to present his or her research.
The following materials are required for application:
• One-page description of candidate’s research focus and key achievements in translational infection research
• Candidate’s CV including publications, patents, prizes and honors
• Five key publications
• Complete list of publications and papers
• Two letters of recommendation
