Das Institut für Angewandte Informatik der FH Stralsund präsentiert auf der diesjährigen MEDICA in Düsseldorf vom 19.11. bis 22.11. seine Aktivitäten im Bereich der Gesundheitstelematik. Dabei wird das Projekt Interdisziplinärer Telemedizinverbund Pomerania den Schwerpunkt bilden. Kennzeichnend für das zusammen mit dem Tumorzentrum Vorpommern durchgeführte Projekt ist, daß im Rahmen der interdisziplinären Zusammenarbeit Einzelapplikationen, wie Telepathologie, Teleradiologie und Telekonferenz - zukünftig auch Telekardiologie - zu einer technischen und organisatorischen Gesamtlösung verwoben werden (siehe hierzu: http://www.user.fh-stralsund.de/~telemed/). Vorgestellt werden organisatorische und technische Lösungsansätze, wie z.B. das Konzept eines zentralen Bildservers mit pseudonymisierten Patientendaten.
Die MEDICA ist mit 4000 Ausstellern aus 65 Nationen die weltgrößte Medizintechnik-Messe und findet alljährlich in Düsseldorf statt.
