    Leading global health experts will assess the state of pandemic preparedness in the first of a new lecture series by Charité Global Health and London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine (LSHTM). Wednesday, February 12, 2020, 19:00 - 21:00. Museum für Naturkunde, Berlin.

    What have we learned from past outbreaks, and how can we get ready for new global epidemics on the horizon? Leading global health experts will assess the state of pandemic preparedness at the first installment of the LSHTM-Charité Global Health Lecture Series in Berlin.

    The LSHTM-Charité Global Health Lecture Series is part of a cooperation established in 2018 at the World Health Summit. It brings together leading scientists from the UK, Germany, and further afield to present cutting-edge research on pressing global health issues and to discuss the implications of their work for policy and practice.

    The series will continue throughout the year, covering some of the most pressing topics in global health:
