Einer der Preisträger des Controllingpreises 2003 ist Dr. Peter Nicolai Damisch vom Lehrstuhl Controlling der Fakultät Wirtschaftswissenschaften der TU Dresden.
Dr. Damisch erhielt den Preis für seine Dissertation, in der er sich mit der monetären Bewertung von Flexibilität und deren Integration in ein wertorientiertes Controlling-System auf der Basis sogenannter Realoptionen beschäftigt hat. Dr. Damisch geht dabei von der Annahme aus, dass sich eine hohe unternehmerische Handlungsflexibilität positiv auf den Marktwert eines Unternehmens auswirkt. Basierend auf dieser Annahme untersuchte er, ob, inwieweit und wie die Dimension Flexibilität in ein wertorientiertes Controlling integriert werden kann.
Der Österreichische Controllerpreis wird jedes Jahr vom Österreichischen Controller-Institut für hervorragende Arbeiten auf dem Gebiet des Operativen und Strategischen Controlling international ausgeschrieben.
