Bayreuth (UBT). Dr. Konrad Fiedler, Professor für Populationsökologie, wurde von der Finnischen Akademie der Wissenschaften in ein internationales Gutachtergremium zur Auswahl und Evaluierung von Forschungsanträgen im Bereich der Ökologie und Evolutionsbiologie berufen. Das Gremium, dem Wissenschaftler aus sieben europäischen Staaten und den USA angehören, wird vom 10.-12. März in Helsinki tagen und dabei 86 Anträge bewerten. Neben Professor Fiedler ist nur ein weiterer deutscher Wissenschaftler an diesem Gutachterverfahren beteiligt.
