Am 25. März hat sie ihren Besuch angekündigt. Die Generalkonsulin der USA Susan M. Elbow wird als Schirmherrin das "Chicago-Projekt - Sounds of a city"" des Bereiches Pop-/ World Music erleben. Nach dem Kulturförderpreis des Landes Mecklenburg-Vorpommern im vergangenen Jahr für das "Björk-Projekt" ist dies erneut ein Grund zur Freude für die über 30 Mitwirkenden um den Leiter des Popularbereiches Wolfgang Schmiedt. Nicht nur die musikalische Vielfalt der legendären Band, auch Songs in neuer Bearbeitung des Art Ensemble of Chicago und die schönsten Melodien aus dem Broadway-Musical, die in deutscher Fassung erarbeitet wurden, werden zu erleben sein.
