Frau Professor Dr. Marion Festing hat Anfang März den Ruf an die Justus-Liebig-Universität Gießen abgelehnt. Sie war vom Hessischen Ministerium für Wissenschaft und Kunst auf die C4-Professur für Betriebswirtschaftslehre, insbesondere Personalmanagement, berufen worden. Die Justus-Liebig-Universität Gießen wollte Marion Festing gewinnen, um das Fach "Personalmanagement" neu aufzubauen.
Die ESCP-EAP Europäische Wirtschaftshochschule Berlin ist hoch erfreut, dass es ihr ein weiteres Mal gelungen ist, eine wichtige Persönlichkeit für ihren Lehrkörper zu halten. Frau Professor Dr. Marion Festing wird damit auch in Zukunft mit ihren Beiträgen in Forschung und Lehre wegweisende Impulse für die Entwicklung dieser besonderen Hochschule geben.
