Globale Gesundheit im Fokus, Akkreditierung geöffnet
Weltweite Strategien für Pandemie-Bekämpfung und Prävention, die Rolle Deutschlands, Europas und der WHO in der globalen Gesundheit, Impfgerechtigkeit, künstliche Intelligenz in der weltweiten Gesundheitsversorgung – dies sind die großen Themen beim World Health Summit 2021 vom 24.–26. Oktober in Berlin und digital.
Der World Health Summit bringt in diesem Jahr erneut die bedeutendsten Köpfe aus dem Bereich Global Health zusammen. Über 300 Sprecher:innen und 6.000 Teilnehmer:innen aus rund 100 Nationen diskutieren beim World Health Summit vor Ort und online über die wichtigsten Themen für die globale Gesundheit und stellen die Weichen für eine gesündere Zukunft. Das gesamte Programm ist digital frei verfügbar.

Die Vor-Ort-Teilnahme ist wegen COVID-19 limitiert und nur auf Einladung möglich. Voraussetzung für den Einlass ist die 3G-Regel: Getestet, genesen oder geimpft. Es gelten die Hygiene- und Abstandsbestimmungen.
Der World Health Summit ist eine der weltweit wichtigsten strategischen Konferenzen für globale Gesundheit und bringt international führende Wissenschaftler, Politiker sowie Vertreter aus Industrie und Zivilgesellschaft zusammen. Das Forum wurde 2009 zum 300-jährigen Jubiläum der Charité gegründet und steht unter der Schirmherrschaft von Bundeskanzlerin Angela Merkel, Frankreichs Staatspräsident Emmanuel Macron, der Präsidentin der Europäischen Kommission Ursula von der Leyen und Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, Generaldirektor der Weltgesundheitsorganisation WHO. Präsident des World Health Summit ist Axel R. Pries, Dekan der Charité. Internationaler Präsident 2021 ist Charles Ibingira vom Makerere University College of Health Sciences, Uganda.
