For the third time in a row Leibniz-Institut für Kristallzüchtung (IKZ) has been awarded with the audit berufundfamilie certificate on September 30, 2021. The certificate is awarded by the Board of Trustees of berufundfamilie Service GmbH as a seal of quality for a strategically designed family-and life-phase-conscious personnel policy. The IKZ received the award for the first time in 2015.
The prerequisite for the current certification is the successful completion of the re-auditing process, in which the degree of penetration of the existing family-and life-phase-conscious measures already implemented was examined. In a review process the conditions and the culture of the reconciliation policy were examined and reflected. Areas that could be further improved were identified and addressed to develop practical solutions.
As part of the re-certification process, not only strategic aims but also concrete measures were defined. These are specified in a target agreement and will be implemented during the three-year certification period. The practical implementation will be reviewed annually by berufundfamilie Service GmbH. One focus will be the organization of the working environment using the experiences gained during the recent pandemic. Here, the institute has already developed user regulations and created suitable technical conditions for mobile working, which will be further developed and evaluated.
