Senat der Universität Jena schlägt die Professoren Dicke und Grimm zur Wahl vor
Jena (20.04.04) Der Senat der Friedrich-Schiller-Universität Jena hat heute dem Konzil der Universität zwei Kandidaten für das Amt des Rektors vorgeschlagen. Der Politikwissenschaftler Prof. Dr. Klaus Dicke (50) und der Literaturwissenschaftler Prof. Dr. Reinhold R. Grimm (61) werden sich im Mai dem Konzil stellen. Dieses 59-köpfige Gremium wird dann den Nachfolger des amtierenden Rektors Prof. Dr. Karl-Ulrich Meyn wählen, der sich altersbedingt nicht zur Wiederwahl stellt. Die vierjährige Amtszeit des 317. Rektors der Jenaer Universität beginnt am 1. September 2004.
Prof. Dicke hat seit 1995 den Lehrstuhl für Politische Theorie und Ideengeschichte an der Jenaer Universität inne. Prof. Grimm ist Lehrstuhlinhaber für Romanische Literaturwissenschaft (Französisch, Italienisch) und wechselte ebenfalls 1995 an die Universität Jena.
