The WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management’s student-run Campus for Finance is scheduled to host its annual Private Equity Conference at the Stadthalle in Vallendar from March 10th – 11th. Tickets are on sale now, and there is still a chance to participate.

Starting on March 10th, the WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management will host the 17th annual Campus for Finance Private Equity Conference in person at the Stadthalle in Vallendar. This two-day event will offer participants a chance to hear from some of today’s most renowned figures in the world of finance, including Dr. Burkhard P. Varnholt (CIO at Credit Suisse), Inna Gehrt (Managing Partner & Head of DACH, Mandarin Capital Partners), and Dr. Stefan Povaly (Senior Country Officer Germany, J.P. Morgan), among others. In addition to speeches from the experts who know best, the Private Equity Conference will also stage a series of panel discussions, fireside chats, workshops, on-campus interviews, and a career fair.

In recent years, those active in the world of private equity have noticed a considerable shift from a sole focus on the return on investments. In fact, classic methodology and practices may no longer suffice in a world that is becoming more digital and global every day. As its name suggests, impact investing has indeed had a strong impact on the corporate world, and now experts in the field are asking themselves what effects it may have over time. These types of topics and concerns will be explored in full at this year’s Private Equity Conference, as echoed by the initiative’s own motto: “A new era of private equity—creating long-term value through impact investing.”

This is a public event open to young academics and professionals from all over who are eager to learn more about how to begin and maintain a career in private equity. Those inclined can apply for one of two tickets: the Student Program, for graduate-level students, and the Young Professional Program, for those who have completed (or are in the process of completing) their MBA course. Tickets for the event are on sale until Sunday, February 27th, and slots are limited. The WHU Campus for Finance is currently offering 30% off the full ticket price through use of the promotional code WHU30, which can be entered on their official conference sign-up page. Both ticket types include complementary food and drink and accommodation via one of the WHU student hosts.

The WHU Private Equity Conference is an internationally acknowledged forum that focuses on all topics relevant to the world of private equity, venture capital, and real estate. It strives to offer young learners and professionals a platform where they can exchange ideas and learn from the best. By uniting today’s experts with tomorrow’s professionals, the initiative seeks to unite the world of finance one step at a time.
