3rd International Conference on UV LED Technologies & Applications – ICULTA 2023 | Call for Abstracts

Nicole Vlach Pressestelle
Ferdinand-Braun-Institut gGmbH Leibniz-Institut für Höchstfrequenztechnik

Following the great success and increasing demand from the UV LED community, the ICULTA conference series will continue next spring. The ‘International Conference on UV LED Technologies & Applications’ will be held as an in-person event in Berlin, Germany, from April 23rd to 26th, 2023. The organizers – the Advanced UV for Life Association and the Ferdinand-Braun-Institut Berlin – will once again bring together experts and pioneers from science and industry to network and discuss the latest trends, innovations and the wide range of applications of UV LEDs. The submission deadline for oral and poster presentation abstracts is November 30th, 2022.

    Cutting-edge topics

Since the Covid-19 pandemic, UV LED technologies have moved into the international focus of attention. The demand once focused on disinfection, has now opened up applications across all sectors worldwide. From the disinfection of air and surfaces with UV LED based systems in public areas to controlling viruses, fungi and bacteria in health care and for medical treatment, the technology has moved out of niche applications. The compact, environmentally friendly and flexible light sources continue to open up many new applications in curing of materials, plant growth lighting, environmental monitoring, and medical diagnostics – to name just a few.

    Call for abstracts

Fast developments in the UV LED technology and their ever-expanding applications require close interactions between LED developers and users. ICULTA 2023 offers them an international platform to exchange latest results and present state-of-the-art technologies in a wide range of exciting talks, poster presentations and in the accompanying exhibition.

    Help

Search / advanced search of the idw archives
    Combination of search terms

You can combine search terms with and, or and/or not, e.g. Philo not logy.

    Brackets

You can use brackets to separate combinations from each other, e.g. (Philo not logy) or (Psycho and logy).

    Phrases

Coherent groups of words will be located as complete phrases if you put them into quotation marks, e.g. “Federal Republic of Germany”.

    Selection criteria

You can also use the advanced search without entering search terms. It will then follow the criteria you have selected (e.g. country or subject area).

If you have not selected any criteria in a given category, the entire category will be searched (e.g. all subject areas or all countries).
