Linde, a leading industrial gases and engineering company, is supporting ESMT Berlin with the Linde Sustainable Leaders Fellowship. The company’s donation of $25,000 will provide support for two full-time MBA students in the upcoming January 2024 intake.
The donation helps to strengthen the ESMT ASPIRE strategy, which aims to advance sustainability, drive important research and inclusive economic growth, and strengthen innovation and entrepreneurship in Europe. The Linde Sustainable Leaders Fellowship provides economic support to two sustainability-minded MBA candidates.
“Linde is committed to making our world more productive sustainably,” says Tamara Brown, vice president sustainability, Linde. “We have long-term goals for our own operations to decrease our carbon footprint and to continue to make our communities stronger and more resilient. At the same time, we are working every day with customers to implement high-quality solutions that increase productivity. We are so pleased to support the next generation of socially responsible business leaders.
“We are delighted to be working with Linde, given our shared belief in change being accelerated when social concerns and business are aligned. Having fellowships focused on sustainable leadership aligns with our mission to develop entrepreneurial leaders who think globally and act responsibly,” says Rebecca Loades, Director MBA programs at ESMT.
The ESMT Full-time MBA is an intensive 15-month program designed to help students accelerate or change careers. Elective options are at the heart of the MBA, with numerous opportunities to tailor the program to students’ own needs. Specializations in strategic leadership, managerial analytics, or innovation and entrepreneurship are offered, and students have the opportunity for international exchange and internships. The full-time MBA starts annually in January.
To be eligible to receive a fellowship, applicants must demonstrate that they have made a positive social impact by addressing one or more of the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals. For this purpose, applicants will be asked to demonstrate how they have positively impacted society or the environment.
