Mit 13 Ja-Stimmen, 8 Nein-Stimmen und 2 Enthaltungen ist Prof. Christfried Göckeritz gestern zum neuen Rektor der HMT gewählt worden. Er war der einzige Kandidat, nachdem der amtierende Rektor Prof. Dr. Hartmut Möller bereits im Senat scheiterte.
Als Prorektoren wurden Prof. Frank Strobel mit 17 Ja-, drei Neinstimmen und 3 Enthaltungen und Prof. Peter Manfred Wolf mit 16 Ja-, sechs Neinstimmen und einer Enthaltung gewählt.
Göckeritz ist bislang Sprecher des Instituts für Musik, Strobel des Instituts für Schauspiel. Wolf vertritt an der HMT die Musiktheorie.
Wann der neue Rektor sein Amt antritt, steht noch nicht fest und ist abhängig vom Zeitpunkt der Berufung durch das Ministerium für Bildung, Wissenschaft und Kultur.
