Demographic change, digitalization and an increasingly diverse population are also leading to new challenges in the professional fields of social work and social economics. Today, specialists need sound business and management-oriented know-how in order to be able to cope with the increasingly complex financing and management of social organizations. The part-time Master's program in Social Management at Leuphana University Lüneburg responds to this need and provides a practice-oriented qualification. A new round of the study program starts in April 2025. Applications are now being accepted until January 31.
The 5-semester Social Management program qualifies students for management and leadership roles in social work, social pedagogy and social economics. The broad-based curriculum is geared towards the demands of leadership roles in social services as well as in sub-areas of healthcare. The range of topics extends from personnel and organizational development to funding, labor and tax law, business administration, marketing, work organization, knowledge management, innovation management and change management.
Further information on the course is available at the online information day of the Leuphana Professional School on January 11, 2025. Mike Krzywik-Groß, the course coordinator, is also available at any time for personal consultations (som@leuphana.de, phone 04131.677-7741).
