Open Call for Observer Cities - Apply by 31st January 2025

    The metaCCAZE project has recently launched an open call for observer cities. At this stage, we are looking for 10 other European cities that are ready to lead the change towards smarter and sustainable transport. metaCCAZE is here to help observer cities achieve their climate-neutral goals with cutting-edge solutions in electric, automated, and connected mobility.Apply by 31st January 2025 to shape the future of sustainable urban transport!

    The metaCCAZE project, co-funded by the European Union, aims to revolutionise mobility in European cities, serving both passengers and freight, with innovative electric, automated, and connected solutions designed to make transport smarter, net zero, and more efficient for all.

    In the vibrant streets of four trailblazer cities – Amsterdam, Munich, Limassol, and Tampere – metaCCAZE tests and demonstrates cutting-edge technologies that support shared zero
    emission mobility solutions for people and goods, contributing to climate neutrality.
    Successful technologies and activities will be shared and implemented to six follower cities – Athens, Krakow, Gozo, Milan, Miskolc, and Poissy, Paris Region.

    By joining metaCCAZE as an observer city, cities will:
    • Gain First-Hand Access: Attend exclusive workshops, live demonstrations, and
    study visits. Explore innovations like AI-powered traffic management, autonomous
    vehicles, and smart logistics hubs.
    • Develop Tailored Implementation Plans: Work with experts to craft tailored
    strategies, ensuring your city can deploy these cutting-edge solutions effectively
    • Collaborate & Learn: Engage with Trailblazer and Follower Cities, learning from
    real-world case studies and sharing insights to enhance your local mobility
    networks.
    • Lead the Change: Position your city as a frontrunner in sustainable transport,
    amplifying impact and attracting future investments.

    Selected cities will receive funding to take part in project workshops to build capacity and support them develop a local implementation plan.
