Ehrung für Leistung in International Headache Society
Anlässlich des 22. International Headache Congress vom 10.09. bis 13.09.2025 in Sao Paulo (Brasilien) wurde Prof. Dr. med. Dr. phil. Stefan Evers der Special Recognition Award verliehen. Hiermit wird alle 2 Jahre eine Persönlichkeit ausgezeichnet, die sich besonders um die weltweite Kopfschmerzforschung und Kopfschmerzmedizin verdient gemacht hat. Prof. Evers war über 10 Jahre Generalsekretär der International Headache Society und hat diese als moderne forschungs- und versorgungsorientierte Fachgesellschaft etabliert. Er ist Professor für Neurologie an der Medizinischen Fakultät der Universität Münster und Ärztlicher Direktor des Fachkrankenhauses Lindenbrunn in Coppenbrügge.
