(Hanover, 10.03.2026) What are the forecasts for the current bioplastics market? The Institute for Bioplastics and Biocomposites at Hochschuel Hannover - University of Applied Sciences and Arts has published the latest edition of its brochure ‘Biopolymers – facts and statistics 2025’, which contains new, up-to-date figures on bio-based plastics.
The brochure contains a variety of process routes for many different bio-based plastics, information on raw material, water and land requirements, and freshly updated market figures for individual materials: regions and applications, graphics on agricultural land requirements, geographical distribution and applications.
‘Biopolymers – facts and statistics 2025’ offers a quick and easy-to-understand overview of the current market-relevant and technical facts in the bioplastics sector and is intended to provide decision-makers from politics, society and industry as well as scientists with concrete and reliable answers quickly and easily.
