Vortrag und Gespräch an der Kunsthochschule für Medien Köln (KHM)

Vortrag und Gespräch zu Erinnerungskultur, Rassismus, Öffentlichkeit und Konflikt – am Beispiel des antirassistischen Mahnmals an der Kölner Keupstraße: Zu Beginn des Abends gibt Ulf Aminde Einblicke in seine künstlerische Arbeitsweise und zentrale Aspekte seiner langjährigen Praxis zwischen Kunst, Teilhabe, sozialem Raum und kollektiven Prozessen. Im Anschluss steht das antirassistische Mahnmal an der Keupstraße im Mittelpunkt. Es erinnert an die NSU-Bombenanschläge von 2001 und 2004 in Köln. Der Abend beleuchtet das künstlerische Konzept des Mahnmals, die Konflikte und Aushandlungsprozesse seiner Entstehung sowie Fragen von Erinnerungskultur, Rassismus und öffentlichem Raum.
Mit Ulf Aminde, Künstler und Professor an der Weißensee Kunsthochschule Berlin und Sandy Kaltenborn, Designer und Vertretungsprofessor an der Kunsthochschule für Medien Köln. Die Veranstaltung ist Teil der Aktionswoche "Wissenschaft gegen Faschismus" und "KHM gegen Faschismus“.
