The new part-time certificate programme Digital Ethics at Leuphana Professional School addresses the challenges of dealing with digital technology. Not only preparing companies for the upcoming EU framework, but also a fair and responsible approach to the design of new products and services are on the agenda.
The two-semester continuing education programme provides students with competences in the trustworthy handling of data and algorithms. They learn about different fields of application and deal with the question of how digital ethics can be implemented in practice. The programme begins in October 2022 and applications are open until 31 July.
The continuing education programme can be used very flexibly thanks to the possibilities of online learning. Participants receive a certificate of participation and can also take exams to earn the Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS) from Leuphana University Lüneburg or credit points for further studies.
Certificate coordinator Ulrike Kahlfeldt (digitale.ethik@leuphana.de, Fon 04131.677-1867) is available for a personal consultation. The offer will also be presented at the Professional School's digital info day (1/2 July 2022).
