Follow us on twitter. We offer several channels to provide you with news from different categories and novelties from the idw itself.
With facebook we share technical and substantial news about idw and its projects. Furthermore we post several times a week frequently read idw-news of our website.
With the idw app, you can access the latest news from idw member institutions in real time. You can use keywords to find the reports that you are interested in and create your own personal news ticker. When a news item that corresponds to your interests is published, our app will notify you immediately.
An algorithm developed in-house analyses all idw press releases from the past months and identifies relevant keywords, which you can then select as search criteria. We review and analyse search results on an ongoing basis to provide continuous improvements to the algorithm.
Via RSS you can receive news from your prefered categories. After you have confirmed your settings, the idw system will automatically create a link for you.
Receive news only from a particular idw member institution as an RSS feed, too. Select the desired institution from the membership directory. In addition to the “Press releases” and/or “Events” buttons, you can activate the RSS feed icon .
Further information about RSS-feeds you can find on our website under FAQs.
You can combine search terms with and, or and/or not, e.g. Philo not logy.
You can use brackets to separate combinations from each other, e.g. (Philo not logy) or (Psycho and logy).
Coherent groups of words will be located as complete phrases if you put them into quotation marks, e.g. “Federal Republic of Germany”.
You can also use the advanced search without entering search terms. It will then follow the criteria you have selected (e.g. country or subject area).
If you have not selected any criteria in a given category, the entire category will be searched (e.g. all subject areas or all countries).
