Die vom BMBF im Rahmen des Programms "Neue Medien in der Bildung" geförderten Statistik-Projekte haben eine mehrjährige erfolgreiche Entwicklungsarbeit hinter sich. Das Symposium diskutiert den Stand des e-Learning in der Statistik-Grundausbildung (Einsatz in der Lehre, praxisnahe Probleme, Verbesserungsmöglichkeiten, zukünftige Entwicklungen).
