Bundesumweltminister Jürgen Trittin eröffnet die ?Berlin Conference on the Human Dimension of Global Environmental Change".
Trotz zahlreicher Erfolge in der modernen Umweltpolitik in den vergangenen 30 Jahren verschlechtert sich der Zustand der Umwelt. Ursachen dafür sind neben nationalen und internationalen Krisenherden überkommene Politikmuster in der Energie-, Transport- und Agrarpolitik.
Die Haupthindernisse für eine erfolgreiche Umweltpoltik werden auf der Konferenz ?Greening of Policies - Interlinkages and Policy Integration" analysiert.
