Dear friends and colleagues,
we would like to cordially invite you to the 21st Ernst Klenk Symposium in Molecular Medicine "Atherosclerosis: Mediators, Mechanisms and Interventions" organized by the Center for Molecular Medicine (CMMC), the Medical Society of the University of Cologne and the Ernst-Klenk Foundation, Marburg.
We are delighted to announce that Prof. Jorge Plutzky (Harvard University, Boston, USA), who was substantially involved in the scientific coordination of this symposium and set up the scientific program, will present the Ernst-Klenk Lecture, entitled "Diabetic Atherosclerosis: New Targets, New Pathways".
Prof. Plutzky was able to gain various excellent scientists as guest speakers. Thus, a number of excellent and world-renowned scientists and clinicians will be speaking on a variety of pertinent subjects including the role of lipid metabolism, glucose homeostasis, and inflammation in atherogenesis as well as clinical interventions.
We expect fruitful discussions and are looking forward to welcoming you at the meeting in December.

You can use brackets to separate combinations from each other, e.g. (Philo not logy) or (Psycho and logy).
Coherent groups of words will be located as complete phrases if you put them into quotation marks, e.g. “Federal Republic of Germany”.
You can also use the advanced search without entering search terms. It will then follow the criteria you have selected (e.g. country or subject area).
If you have not selected any criteria in a given category, the entire category will be searched (e.g. all subject areas or all countries).
