ZUR PERSON:
Wolfram Weckwerth, geboren 1969 in Berlin, ist seit September 2008 Professor für Molekulare Pfl anzenphysiologie an der Universität Wien. 1988-94 Studium der Chemie an der Technischen Universität Berlin, 1998 Doktorat in Biochemie ebendort. 2000-02 Postdoc am Max-Planck-Institut für Molekulare Pfl anzenphysiologie in Potsdam und 2002-07 Gruppenleiter für Integrative Metabolomics und Proteomics ebendort. 2007 Habilitation und Venia legendi an der Universität Potsdam. 2007-08 Leiter der Forschungseinrichtung für Systembiologie „Systems Biology Lab GoFORSYS“, gefördert vom Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung, Deutschland.
Forschungsschwerpunkte: Systembiologie; Entwicklung und Anwendung von genomweiten Metabolomics und Proteomics/Phosphoproteomics-Technologien in der Systembiologie; Hochdurchsatzprofi lanalysen (HTP); Entwicklung theoretischer Modelle, aus HTPDaten biochemische Regulation abzuleiten; Pfl anzen- Genotyp-Phänotyp-Interaktion; Genom-Annotation und Rekonstruktion von Stoff wechsel und Regulation in sequenzierten Modellorganismen; HTP-Datenbanken, Datenmanagement und Data-Mining.
