Die Festverstaltung beginnt um 16:00 Uhr im Hörsaal 6 des Hörsaalgebäudes II auf dem Campus Nord. Das Programm sieht nach Grußworten von Rektor Prof. Dr. Dr.h.c. Albert Klein, vom stellvertretenden Vorsitzenden des VDE-Bezirksvereins Rhein-Ruhr e.v., Dr.-Ing. G. Howe sowie vom Dekan der Fakultät für Elektrotechnik, Prof. Dr.-Ing. H. Schröder, vor:
· Festvortrag "Trends in der Telekommunikation" von Dr.-Ing. F. Sporleder,
· Verleihung des VDE-Promotionspreises an Dr.-Ing. C. Glingener,
· Vorstellung der Dissertation am Lehrstuhl für Hochfrequenztechnik: "Modellierung und Simulation faseroptischer Netze mit Wellenlängenmultiplex"

Die Vertreter der Medien sind zur Teilnahme herzlich eingeladen. Gelegenheit zu Film- und Fotoaufnahmen ist um 16:00 gegeben.
Nach der Veranstaltung sind Sie zu einem Imbiss eingeladen.
