Die Sonderausstellung dokumentiert in Form von Fotos und ausgetauschten Schiffsteilen den Verlauf der Restaurierung der hölzernen Museumsbark. Da diese Arbeiten im Dock der Motorenwerke Bremerhaven noch bis voraussichtlich Februar 2002 andauern werden, wird die Ausstellung regelmäßig aktualisiert. Die Schau präsentiert zudem einige bislang unveröffentlichte Bilder aus der wechselvollen Geschichte des Bremerhavener Wahrzeichens erstmals der Öffentlichkeit.
