Der Autor Wolfgang Weißleder, der Herausgeber Jörg Kwapis und die Gestalterin Anne Wachsmuth stellen ihr gemeinsames Buch vor und laden zur Diskussion ein.
Die Gestaltung des Buches ist die Diplomarbeit von Anne Wachsmuth, Absolventin des Fachbereichs Design der Fachhochschule Potsdam. Die Diplomarbeit wurde betreut von Prof. Betina Müller, Typografische Gestaltung, und Prof. Hans-Jörg Kotulla, Kommunikationsdesign, Illustration.
Erstmals werden in dieser Publikation in Wort und Bild alle jüdischen Friedhöfe im heutigen Land Brandenburg vorgestellt. Kurzbeschreibungen und Fotografien machen aus diesem "Wegweiser" ein interessantes Nachschlagewerk und wollen dazu ermuntern, einen dieser 60 Friedhöfe zu besuchen. Darüber hinaus ist dem Unkundigen das Buch auch eine Hilfe zum Verständnis jüdischer Traditionen, dem Kenner bietet es mit ausführlichen Informationen zur Geschichte und Kultur der jüdischen Gemeinden zusätzliche Anregungen.
