This invitation is addressed to media representatives. To participate at the conference, members of the media must register by completing an online form: eso.org/rsvp. Please indicate whether you wish to attend in person or if you will participate online only.
On-site journalists will have a question-and-answer session with panelists during the conference. We will also take questions from registered journalists participating online. In-person individual interviews immediately after the conference are also possible. Please register online until April 7th 23:59 CET.
The conference will be streamed online from 14:30 CEST on 10 April 2019 at https://aktuelles.uni-frankfurt.de/, but only registered journalists will be able to submit questions. Details about how to submit questions or book interviews will be sent after registration.
A Goethe-University press release will be publicly issued shortly after the start of the conference. Translations of the press release will be available in multiple languages, along with extensive supporting audiovisual material.
A total of five major press conferences will be held simultaneously around the globe in Brussels (Belgium, English), Santiago (Chile, Spanish), Tokyo (Japan, Japanese), Washington DC (USA, English) and Taipei (Taiwan, Mandarin). The ESO Director General Xavier Barcons will speak in Santiago and the NSF Director France A. Córdova will speak in Washington DC.
