Prof. Dr.-Ing. Bärbel Mertsching von der Universität Paderborn und ASEC Vorstandvorsitzende: "An der Schnittstelle zwischen Industrie und universitären Forschungseinrichtungen richtet sich das ASEC an institutionelle und industrielle Anwender. Wir bieten dabei umfassende Kooperationsmöglichkeiten durch Beratung, Entwicklung, Simulation und Herstellung in den Bereichen Sensorik, Mikroelektronik, Schaltungstechnik, drahtlose und mobile Kommunikation, Bildverarbeitung und Robotik."
Am 1. ASEC-Technologietag stellt sich das ASEC mit seinen Partnern e:cue, EGGENET, InnoSys NRW, InnoZent OWL, POS Tuning, ReaLizer und dem Fraunhofer-Institut IZM/ASE Paderborn der Öffentlichkeit vor. In einführenden Vorträgen werden sowohl das Zentrum als auch exemplarische Projekte und erfolgreiche Kooperationen vorgestellt. Im zweiten Teil präsentieren sich die im ASEC zusammengeschlossenen Arbeitsgruppen und ihre Partner. Eine Vielzahl von Exponaten gibt Einblick in die aktuellen Arbeiten.
