Die Savannen der Serengeti in Ostafrika mit ihren Großtierherden zählen
spätestens seit dem berühmten Report von Bernhard Grzimek "Die Serengeti
darf nicht sterben" und den nachfolgenden Schutzaktivitäten zu den Highlights
des internationalen Naturschutzes.
Prof. Anthony Sinclair, einer der bekanntesten Tierökologen, verfolgt die
Entwicklung des Ökosystems Serengeti seit Jahrzehnten und wird über seine
Forschungsergebnisse berichten bzw. auf die Lehren eingehen, die für die
weitere Entwicklung daraus zu ziehen sind.
