Die Konferenz der SAS Anwender in der Forschung und Entwicklung (KSFE) bietet den deutschsprachigen SAS Anwendern aus dem Hochschul- und Forschungsbereich ebenso wie der Anwendungspraxis in den verschiedensten Unternehmen ein Forum, methodische Fragestellungen und neueste Nutzungsmöglichkeiten bei besonderer Beachtung der Software SAS zu diskutieren. In Vorträgen, Postern, Tutorien und Softwaredemonstrationen werden die verschiedenen Problemstellungen und Anwendungsfelder für SAS sowie deren technische Umsetzung dargestellt. Die Präsentationen sollen eine konkrete Hilfestellung für die Anwendung der SAS Software in der Praxis bieten. Die 13. KSFE wird gemeinsam von der Arbeitgruppe Biometrie und Agrarinformatik, dem Institut für Medizinische Epidemiologie, Biometrie und Informatik sowie der Professur für Statistik organisiert.
