Im Rahmen der Feierlichkeit spricht der Preisträger Wilhelm Schmidt-Biggemann zum Thema "Erinnerte Erwartung. Die Zeit der Historiker, Philosophen und Propheten". Die Laudatio hält der Heidelberger Germanist Prof. Dr. Wilhelm Kühlmann. Der Preis wird im Rahmen der "Magus Tage" der "GWK-Gesellschaft für Westfälische Kulturarbeit" vergeben.
