Die Drei ??? sind, wie eine Redakteurin 2015 in Deutschlandradio-Kultur äußerte, wie eine »wahr gewordene Zeitmaschine«. Seit mehr als 50 Jahren lassen amerikanische und nunmehr ausschließlich deutsche AutorInnen die drei Detektivfiguren Justus, Peter und Bob mit viel Knowhow und Organisationstalent in spannenden Fällen ermitteln. Zum Erfolgsrezept der Drei??? gehört der Einsatz der Macht des menschlichen Gehirns und der Kombinationsgabe, sowie die Verwendung technischer Geräte als originelle Hilfsmittel. Dies nahm 1964 in der Stadtbibliothek Rocky Beach am Zettelkatalog seinen Ausgangspunkt. Wie haben sich aber die Methoden und Strategien der Drei ???, ermittlungsrelevante Informationen und Wissen zu beschaffen, und zu kommunizieren unter dem Eindruck des digitalen Wandels verändert?
