Das Programm der Landeshauptstadt Potsdam wird in Kooperation mit dem RIFS – Forschungsinstitut für Nachhaltigkeit (Helmholtz-Zentrum Potsdam) und dem DAAD durchgeführt. Es fördert seit 2024 Künstlerinnen, Künstler und Forschende, die an der Schnittstelle von Kunst, Wissenschaft und Ökologie arbeiten. Ziel ist es, kreative Perspektiven auf soziale, ökologische und kulturelle Dynamiken planetarischer Transformationen zu eröffnen.
Die Eröffnung der Ausstellung mit Werken von Samir Dams, Angela Ka Ki Lee und dem Global Extraction Observatory (Eduardo Kairuz & Sam Spurr) findet am Sonntag, 16.11., um 16 Uhr statt. Es sprechen Dr. Birgit-Katharine Seemann, Fachbereichsleiterin Kultur und Museum der Landeshauptstadt Potsdam, Martin Gorholt, Vorsitzender Kunstverein KunstHaus Potsdam und Sophia Pietryga, Künstlerische Leitung KunstHaus Potsdam.
Die Finissage findet am Sonntag, 14.12. um 16 Uhr statt.
Am 21., 22., 23., 28., 29. und 30. November sowie am 12., 13. und 14. Dezember arbeitet Angela Ka Ki Lee an “Intimate Space: Planetary Energy Portrait”. Teilnehmende sind eingeladen, ihre Perspektive auf Energie-Infrastrukturen in einem Gespräch zu erarbeiten, das die Künstlerin anschließend zeichnerisch übersetzt.
