Graphische Darstellung der Zusammenlagerung von 2 APP Alzheimer-Proteinen. Durch Bindung von Heparinketten (rot) an die aus der Zelle ragenden E1-Abschnitte lagern sich zwei APP-Moleküle zusammen. Das entstehende Dimer verknüpft hier zwei Zellen - möglich ist auch die Zusammenlagerung von 2 APP Molekülen der selben Zelle.
