Aufnahme aus einem der „Tropfen-Experimente“: Wird Blutplasma zwischen zwei Platten gebracht und diese dann auseinandergezogen, zeigen Hochgeschwindigkeitskameras in Verbindung mit hochauflösenden Mikroskop-Objektiven, dass sich Fäden und Tropfen bilden. Dies belegt, dass Plasma elastisch und zähflüssig ist und sich nicht wie Wasser verhält.
