Aufnahmen mit dem Rasterelektronenmikroskop: Auf einem 50 Cent-Stück liegen eine Mikro-AntriebsWelle, wie sie in Mikromotoren eingesetzt werden, und zwei so genannte "Näpfe", die unter andem als Kappen für Widerstände oder Sicherungen eingesetzt werden. Die Näpfe wurden tiefgezogenhaben und haben einen Durchmesser von 1 Millimeter. Die Welle wurde rundgeknetet und hat eine Durchmesser von 0,5 bis 1,2 Millimeter.
