Steinbruch auf dem Würzburger Nikolausberg (Pfeil), oberhalb des Käppele. Die Steinbrüche dort waren nicht nur für Bauzwecke wichtig. Sie spielten auch bei der frühen Erforschung des Würzburger Muschelkalks und seiner Fossilien eine große Rolle.
