Dopaminproduzierende Nervenzelle in der Substantia Nigra eines verstorbenen Parkinson-Patienten, die über doppeltes Erbgut verfügt. Der Zellkern ist blau, die Chromosomen C18 und CX sind grün beziehungsweise rot gefärbt. Bei einem gesunden Mann würde man zwei Kopien von C18 und eine Kopie von CX erwarten. Der Patient hat aber vier Kopien von C18 und 2 Kopien von CX.
