Dr. Klaus Kirchhof (2.v.r.), Chefarzt des Institutes für diagnostische und interventionelle Radiologie und Neuroradiologie des Klinikums Chemnitz, sowie Prof. Dr. Stephan Odenwald (2.v.l.), Inhaber der Professur Sportgerätetechnik der Technischen Universität Chemnitz, besprechen die künftigen Inhalte der Lehrveranstaltung "Gerätetechnik in der Diagnostik" des neuen Bachelor-Studienganges Medical Engineering, der im Wintersemester 2011/12 an der TU Chemnitz startet. Die Vermittlung medizinischer, biomechanischer und medizintechnischer Kenntnisse erfolgt in enger Kooperation mit dem Klinikum Chemnitz – so auch an diesem Computertomografen. Die Chemnitzer Master-Studentin der Sportgerätetechnik Bernadett Hoena, die bereits an einer anderen Hochschule Medizintechnik studierte, sowie Elektrotechnik-Student Andreas Joram beurteilen aus ihrer Sicht die neuen Studieninhalte.
