Das Schema zeigt die DNAOrigami Nanosäule (grau) immobilisiert auf einer Oberfläche. Zwei Gold Nanopartikel mit einem Durchmesser von 80-100 nm dienen als Antenne und fokussieren das Licht im Hotspot zwischen den Nanopartikeln. Ein Fluoreszenzfarbstoff im Hotspot (rot) dient als optisch aktive Quelle und berichtet die Fluoreszenzverstärkung.
