Bei der Elektroantennographie (EAG) strömt ein Mix flüchtiger Substanzen an den Antennen des jeweiligen Insektes vorbei. Ein Gerät registriert, worauf die Antennen reagieren. Dazu müssen z.T. die Antennen oder der Kopf des Insektes abgetrennt werden.
